During this episode, Franchesca Warren talks with
Susan Ochshorn who for nearly two decades, has worked in a broad range of settings at the local, state, and national levels to bridge research, policy, and practice, to integrate ECE into the larger education reform conversation, and to catalyze social change.
We started with a basic question- What’s best for kids? From there, our conversation led to a robust discussion on early childhood education, pay disparities for early childhood educators, and everything in between. We also discuss how we can mobilize our most vulnerable population of students to expose them to quality education from grades PreK2-3rd grade.
Susan is a champion of students and teachers! It was great to discuss with her a topic that seems to get ignored through budget cuts. To listen, click here.
